LNG scandal: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will present in the NAB today
ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will present in NAB the LNG scandal today.
According to details, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was released today by the NAB Rawalpindi, which was directed to present in the NAB today for investigation of the LNG scandal case.
Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is accused of fraud, corruption, misuse of options and damages of the national treasury.
Under the chairmanship of Chairman NAB, last year, the board had approved the inquiry against 20 persons including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Sohail Anwar Saal, former Attorney General Malik Kheem.
Earlier, on January 12, in connection with the investigation of the LNG scandal, former Finance Minister Kamtah Ismail was present before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), which was asked for a half hour.

Remember, in October 2018, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had decided to reopen the LNG scandal case and ask former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The letter was written to the Ministry of Petroleum by NAB, which sought a record from concerned ministries.
