Eid-al-Fitr likely to be on June 5
The Meteorological department showed the strong possibility of the Shawal moon to be seen on Tuesday 4 June.
According to the statement issued by the Meteorological Department, the birth of the new moon will be 3 June (28 Ramazan), according to Pakistani time, 3:02 PM and on that day, sun sunset will be 4 hours 16 minutes.
On June 4th, 27 Ramadan would have been 16 hours in the new moon for 28 hours and this sun will be seen at least one hour after sunset.
According to the Meteorological department, June 4, the chances of seeing moon all over the country are so high, so the Eid al-Fitr is likely to be on Wednesday on June 5.
It is clear that Ramadan was started on Tuesday in Pakistan on May 7.
It was believed that Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Choudhary, had announced that the committee has developed a new Qamari calendar, which is being sent to the Islamic ideological council.
According to this lunar calendar, Shawal moon will be visible June 4 and Eid al-Fitr will be held on June 5.
Ramzan was launched on May 5 in Saudi countries, including Saudi Arabia, but this time there is no possibility of Shawal moon appearing on June 3. And possibly there will be Eid al-Fitr with Pakistan.
