Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will take oath today

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will take the oath of office of the sixth Chief Justice of Pakistan today. The oath ceremony will be held at the presidency. President of the State Arif Ali will take the oath of office from the new Chief Justice of Pakistan. In addition to the appointment of Supreme Court present and retired judges, the ceremony will be attended by guests from different countries.


President of the Turkish Supreme Court, former senior judge of the Indian Supreme Court, and President of the Legal Education Governing Committee of the Commonwealth, Savita Lokar will also attend the oath-taking ceremony of Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa. Justice Khosa also expressed his determination to withdraw debt of Rs.1 million cases pending in courts. He also praised the retired Chief Justice Saqib Nisar. He used to say that there would be no other solution to using justified notes only.
