Islamabad: WAPDA has decided to provide Rs 98 billion from its resources to build the Damer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams.

According to Express News, WAPDA has prepared a plan to provide funds for the construction of Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams, Bhasha Dam will cost about Rs 1,500 billion, while the estimation of the cost of Mohmand dam is 309 billion, for Dams WAPDA has decided to give Rs 98 billion from its own resources.

According to WAPDA sources, the construction work on the Mohmand Dam is expected in early 2019, when the construction of Damar Bhasha Dam will be started in the mid-2019, the dead Bhasha dam will be completed in almost 9 years as the guests will be completed in almost 6 years.
WAPDA sources say that a special financial plan has been set up for the dead Bhasha Dam, the project will be constructed in two parts, the cost of the dam is required for the construction of around 300 billion rupees in the dam. For Rs 474 billion while the Power House needs approximately 751 billion rupees.

For the WAPDA Power House, through the Credit Credit, WAPDA Equity and International Financial Institutions, the government will require 30 billion to 35 billion rupees each year, while the remaining amount for dam construction is done. The loan will be received.
According to the sources, funds for the Mohmand Dam will be administered in the form of a loan from Federal Government Annual Development Program, WAPDA Equity, Local and Foreign Banks and Financial Institutions, and this loan will be availed by WAPDA for its assets.

Sources said that there was no problem for the dead Bhasha and Mohmand Dams, but there was no problem of the value of WAPDA's assets worth $ 40 billion, while the WAPDA sold 32 billion units of power central power agency last year Its value is more than Rs 65 billion
